The Seventh Term: Exclusive Topic of Enterprises Acquisition and Merger Salon held in Santai Resort

April 2nd, 2009, the seventh term of “VIP Zhejiang Merchants Salon--Exclusive Topic of Enterprises Acquisition and Merger ” , which has been hosted jointly by Zhejiang Merchants Capital and Investment Network, Market Herald and Zhejiang Merchants Capital Promotion Association, has been held in Hangzhou Santai Resort. The financial acquisition experts from Zhejiang Investment Co.,Ltd and the members from Zhejiang Merchants Capital Operation Management Class have gathered together and discussed the wisdom of enterprises’ acquisition and merger.

Xu Hanjie, President of Zhejiang Investment Co.,Ltd has been invited as the distinguished guest for this salon, who has been discussed with the participants about how to merger and acquire enterprises, how to improve the competition competence and what are the main methods to increase the company’s value. He thinks that enterprises acquisition and merger are one of the most important channels for financing. Within one year, in Wall Street, as one of the world finance centers, less than half companies’ IPO financing has been done, and more cases are alike to enterprises acquisition and merger. Although the acquisition and merger have not been formed a tendency, but it is the just chance for IPO companies to carry out acquisition during the current financial crisis.

All participants have made their own viewpoints, and heatedly discussed on the topics of acquisition and merger. Mr. Fan, one of the members from Zhejiang Merchants Capital Operation Management Class, has presented that the reason why the middle and small size enterprises have not involved in acquisition and merger is that the real situation and the theory operation in China has not been unified.

       After the meeting, Zhang Xudong, the Executive Director of the seventh term Zhejiang Merchants Salon, has declared: “Information has been the most essential demand for the enterprises all along.
